CG SUPERVISOR

We’re looking for a CG Supervisor who has strong practical experience coordinating a team, throughput of shots to completion via client approval, and maintain a functioning environment where the artists and client can focus on performance without technical hindrance.

CGI TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

We are looking for a technical candidate who has strong practical experience and theoretical knowledge of Computer Science, related 2D/3D disciplines and a wide range of expertise across software, systems and scripting (particularly Maya scripting). You will be a driven, team orientated and a customer focused professional. Ideally the suitable candidate has experience or / exposure to the following technologies:

• A solid understanding of a CGI feature animation / commercial pipeline
• Providing technological support and troubleshooting in Maya oriented pipeline in Windows/Linux environment
• Developing tools and scripts for Maya in Python
• Experience with Yeti, Arnold, Houdini, Nuke & Deadline is a plus
• Experience with application of Ftrack into a pipeline is a plus
• Experience with PyQT and C++ is a plus

LEAD CHARACTER ANIMATOR // Maya

We are looking for Senior/Lead Character Animator candidate who has strong sense of performance, acting (physical motion, posing, timing, and weight, including lip sync) and camera composition. Working from storyboard/animatic to create complex animation sequences as assigned by the director/animation director.

• Working within the show structure and production deadlines to complete all tasks
• Creating expressive character animations according to project design requirements
• Strong CG acting skills – emotions, mood, behaviours, movements, personalities and attitudes to character objects
• A strong understanding of basic human kinetics and basic real world physics is a must
• Ability to work with director to develop look and feel of character movements / good communication skills
• Assist in integrating animations to develop compelling and consistent narrative sequences
• Assist in R&D to drive forward the studio’s animation quality
• Resolve animation issues promptly, creatively and accurately

Any of the following would be highly advantageous: Troubleshooting 2D, 3D & CGI based software, a keen interest in 3D Character Animation, Visual Effects for films.

We’re looking for Senior Nuke Artist candidate who has strong expertise in Nuke Studio software with a minimum of 5 years compositing experience and has a strong eye for detail, composition, and colour, as well as the ability to guide and delegate to junior artists.
